So I went to the local tackle shop and looked at the halo rods. I talked to the guy and he fishes them in freshwater. I looked at what they had and went with a star light. It's there $49.99 rod. Went with it to try on one of my smaller low end reels. He finish and fit looks good, eyes all tight and good. Balance is nice and the action is stiff. They now have labels on them. It's a 7'0" medium spinning rod, lure weight 1/4-3/4 oz. line weight 8-17 lb. I'm impressed so far just messing with it. I know it's only a $50 rod but for the money it seems real nice!

Have you fished it yet? It looks nice, but we have no idea about the sensitivity.

Lmao the color scheme isnt exactly amazing. Blank is red and gold with yellow handles lol. But I've never been a flashy matching this and that person I don't care how it looks if it performs well.
