KayakKid Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 This may seam really ghetto, but when my dad used to be a paper deliverer he would always have to buy these bags to slip the papers into to keep them dry when it was raining. Well as it turns out they are very waterproof and about the same size as a sock, so when we go out into the rain, we always put the bags over our wool socks before putting them into crocks (or tennis shoes). Then we just tuck the bags into the tops of our socks and roll our pants over our socks. 2 Quote

KayakKid Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Where the thunder can you get those bags? I like that idea Well you probably could just talk to your paperman and ask him for some bags. They only cost my dad 2 cents a piece when he bought him from the gazette, and I'm pretty sure you could just pay your paperman for some for dirt cheap. Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted February 16, 2015 Super User Posted February 16, 2015 A few years ago I found some very stretchy rubber overshoes at Orschlens Farm & Home. I think if you wore them walking around very much they would wear out pretty quickly, however, in the boat they keep whatever shoe I'm wearing that day dry. It seems to me that they weren't that expensive, i.e. less than $20. Quote
DILLY07 Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 For me, Im crazy. I don't pay attention about the rain. I focus on catching bass. If it rains, during 50 degree weather, I wear Nike Reax Run 8's with under armor ankle socks. I rarely had my feet wet, cause of my rain suit, covers basically most of my shoe. In summer, I usually wear my rain coat with shorts with Nike Reax Run 8's or Reef Fanning Sandals that is air cushioned for long hot dog days. Quote
