yugrac Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Any of you Pa guys fish Presque Isle Bay? My son lives in Meadville and I am going there on Mem. day weekend to fish with him for a few days, we will more than likley hit it on Sunday of that weekend, we did last year, lots of people, but we just fished where nobody else was, did fair. My question for any of you is has anyone ever done any good fishing the outside edge of the bay, on the big lake side, rather than in the bay itself? The pleasure boaters, and all around morons were very thick. There were at least 150 boats all crowded in a large sand flat area about 6 feet deep all "flipping tubes" would like to avoid them. We hit the sea walls and dock areas, did manage a few smallies, but nothing great. Any other lakes in that area that any of you would recommend? He has lived and fished there for many years, but He and I are always open to opinions or suggestions. Thanks! Quote
PAGreg Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 You could make the ride down to Kinzua Dam. Not very crowded there usually. Quote
flyhatch Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Right outside the bay. there is a rocky shoreline east of the east street launch. aka the stacks jerkbaits. Quote
