Yeah they work as described. I use them when I do a balance job on factory rods. Just fold the two halves and cut the end off, and squeeze the contents out onto and foil sheet, or into a mixing cup and stir for about 1 min. You only have about 3 to 5 mins working time at 75°. It is a true 5 min epoxy.

If your using the epoxy on lures, I would make sure that it is water proof.

Just my .02¢

Don't know never used it, and don't really care.  8-)

Everything I work with, is manufactured water proof and for use with lure and rod production.

Hence the quote..... :D

if i were you i wouldnt get my epoxy at cabelas. If i were you i would go to a local hobby store and pick up some water proof epoxy. That stuff looked expensive so if you buy epoxy then mix it it'll be cheaper and you'll get more.

i build model rockets and go through a ton of epoxy and thats the cheapest way. and BTW mixing epoxy isnt really that hard.

this is what i use and for making lures it should last you a while.

Be careful in using general purpose epoxies... devcon 5 minute is only water resistant but the 30 minute is waterproof... there is a big difference and most people don't notice that.
