Lunker Chunker 88 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I'm not sure how, but i seem to have lost the cap on my bass pro qualifier casting real that controls the tension. Does anyone know i would be able to get another? I would like to have a new one by April for when the ice finally melts. Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted February 14, 2015 Super User Posted February 14, 2015 Call bass pro and get the # where you can order parts. Quote
kikstand454 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 They'll probably just give you one if you go down there. Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted February 14, 2015 Super User Posted February 14, 2015 I would be surprised if the retail stores have any parts. BUT, all the parts you would want for a PQ are available at the BPS parts/repair center: Outdoor World Rod and Reel Repair I've lost a PQ tension cap before myself. The good news is that you will be able to get the cap at OWR&R, the bad news is that minimum shipping is about $5... Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted February 14, 2015 Super User Posted February 14, 2015 Goose 52 is correct. The Outdoor World Rod & Reel Repair (located in the BPS outlet store, right next to the original store in Springfield, will have the part you want, as far as BPS reels are concerned. Quote
Ozark_Basser Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I've had this happen to me before. Cost me about twelve bucks for my revo stx. I'd put some tape over it for now to make sure nothing gets in there. Quote
