BasshunterJGH Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Internet_forums Shouldn't Bassresource be on this list based on post and member count? Quote

BasshunterJGH Posted February 14, 2015 Author Posted February 14, 2015 lol at stormfront.org. Good lord I didn't even know such a thing existed. That's just wrong that it's more popular than bassresource lol Quote
Super User tomustang Posted February 14, 2015 Super User Posted February 14, 2015 I hope you don't believe everything on wiki 1 Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted February 14, 2015 Super User Posted February 14, 2015 At first I thought it was a weather forum. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted February 14, 2015 Super User Posted February 14, 2015 Before I saw Redline's post I noticed Stormfront, I find the popularity to be very disturbing. At one time I checked it out. 1 Quote
Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted February 17, 2015 Super User Posted February 17, 2015 lol at stormfront.org. It's a comedy forum. It's kinda comedic to me that people actually believe the stuff that gets posted on there. Kinda sad actually too. Quote
tipptruck1 Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 lol at stormfront.org. Never heard of the web site. I did laugh at some of the rules about posting though. Take a look at the first 4 rules. For a claimed white pride web site. They have some pc rules. Not saying I agree with their mindset. I just find it funny. It's a comedy forum. It's kinda comedic to me that people actually believe the stuff that gets posted on there. Kinda sad actually too. Well if its a comedy site. I guess I will have to start reading it. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted February 17, 2015 Super User Posted February 17, 2015 We like to do well in our category. A fishing forum is never going to be the most popular website on the net. For whatever reason there seems to be more interest in what Kim Kardashain had for breakfast than what we used last weekend to catch a bass. 1 Quote

Super User J Francho Posted February 18, 2015 Super User Posted February 18, 2015 Thanks BB. We appreciate the the few compliments we get. Quote
plumworm Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Come on JF, I've only been on here 3 years and other than a few "spoofing" threads ie: "If we only had one mod", I think the overall opinion of most of us is that the "Mods" do a great job and interact with us and herd us a little when we tend to stray. "The few compliments we get"? Really? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 18, 2015 Super User Posted February 18, 2015 Maybe you should tell us. Mostly my time is weeding through nasty PMs and blocking spam. Atta-boys are few and far between, and I was just recognizing the gesture. You yourself even took the time to take me to task for that too. We don't do this for fame. We certainly aren't getting rich, either. When guys go from catching dunks to posting a lunker, and YOU MEMBERS helped do that, that's why we mod. Bringing guys together, and sharing the knowledge is where it's at. You're welcome. 1 Quote
