So I was putzing around Dicks today, and saw a stockboy stocking a whole big box of new YUM brand soft plastic baits.   Now I wasnt really able to get a completely thorough look at these products...cause, well, I want to let the kid do his job...But my first impression so far has been....fairly unimpressed.

Now maybe my opinion will change for the better in the coming months...but right now, I didnt see too much to get excited about.

But thats just me.

Interesting. I'll have to see what's at the two DSG's

near me have in stock now.

I was looking for some of the new Dinger colors while

at BPS last week and the guys said they no longer

carry Yum products in-store.

Interesting to see if this is a Hampton BPS-only thing,

or temporary. Online BPS has plenty of new YUM

products.

DSG usually doesn't have a big stock. Besides I don't

use Yum Dingers much, though I want to grab some

watermelon gold flake because I think they make the

best in that color.

More than likely just got rid of the old stuff, you'll probably see the new products back in that BPS soon.

We started getting it all back in at my store. Looks like they are going for a Havoc type line of baits. Inexpensive, non-scented plastics. Most bags are running between 2.99 and 3.99.

All the same shapes besides the Thumpin' Dinger and the Swimmin' Dinger. Just seems like a different plastic and no scent.

That is great news.

The Dick's by my house and over by Chesterfield Towne Center have small plastic selections due to space limitations.

Nice to read that the buyer at your Dick's is getting in some new products to spice up the place.

The five inch Yum-Dinger is one lure I never leave home without.  I'm a fan of Yum and can't wait to see their 2015 line up although I will admit I'm only interested in their Yum-Dingers.

BPS has all their Yum products at 2.99. Considering picking up a few things while I'm up there tomorrow. Goodbye paycheck.

I noticed they are all $2.99 too. I like that. Between Havoc, Yum, and Big Bite plastics the "Bang for the Buck" soft plastic realm is getting crowded.

I saw that as well at bps of all places, same 2.99 for 10 yum Dingers , I thought they were on close out , but they didn't say f2 so I guess it's the new stuff..

I called the local to be sure. It was new, in stock product. Late arrival for the sale?

I've probably got enough plastic to last a lifetime, but anoter bag can't hurt, can it?

Kill shot looks interesting. Just got a pack at an a trading post up here. Going to rig them up on a small jighead

Picked up a pack of the swim n dingers today at the Detroit BPS. The back of the pack clearly states attractant includes enzymes and natural attractants scientifically proven to catch fish. Not as strong as previous Yum products, but you can still smell it. Just wanted to clarify that. That gives them one up on Havoc products. No F2 on the packaging.
