If you had to pick just one or two types of jigs what would you choose? I Know there's different types and they're used for different things but what is the best overall in your opinion? Also what's you're favorite trailers for them and the color of both the jig and trailor

BOSS heavy cover and BOSS football jigheads.  The weedguard on the heavy cover jigs is ridiculous and gets hung up less than any other jig Ive used.  Football jighead is pretty much like any other but its got a good hook on it.  I buy skirts separately for the jigheads.

Brush jig for me as well. I like black and blue.

Zman Batwingz and Uncle Josh pork frogs are a couple of my favorite trailers.

I make my own and I do like the brush head but if I'm limited to 2 different jigs then I'm taking an Arky style jig and a round head finesse jig. The arky can handle all the heavy brush and the round head finesse jig can do just about everything pretty decently so every situation I have a jig that I can work with confidence.

Here are my two

1. football head (not because it is the most versatile but because it catches so many bass)

2. a bullet swim head (because it is so versatile, crawl it, swim it, pitch it, etc.)
