she went 7-11.  just like the store she was open for business.  and she sure meant business once she bit that slither-rigged rage craw down in that deep timber.  but i negotiated with her a little and we both went back home happy.

WOW - you are ON TOP of those fish!  Congrats and have fun!!

 

Up here on the Plateau - I did OK in January in water as cold as 37....but all I've caught so far in February is skunks... :lol:

It's been over a month since I've been on the water, you're killing me with these reports Paul  :cry4:

and you're killing me with the fact that you've gotten on the water that recently. The water up here got hard around the second week of November I believe, and it will stay that way until early April. :/ I've got the itch really bad!

thanks so much guys.  for those asking about the slither rig, i described the "version" of the slither rig i'm using right now in one of my last posts.  hope this helps.

but there are many variations.  basically a slither rig is just a texas rigged plastic with a skirt on it to make it look like a jig.  great for getting in (and back out of :smile2: ) super heavy or dense cover that presents problems for even the most snagless jigs.
