SamTheHam Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Fishes the sawgrass with two other members of my local club homestead Hawg hunters. We launched 4 miles north of the oaek on us 27 and fished the canal south of the ramp, went into the flats, and then fishes the canal north back towards the ramp. We were out there from 7 am to 6 pm and the action was steady. Most fish between 1 to 3 pounds and caught mostly on stick baits. We did get a few with swimbaits in the flats. Overall it was an awesome time! 1 Quote
Gotfishyfingers? Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Nice, thanks for the report. Did you happen to see the enormous party/gathering in the parking lot of one of the boat ramps just north of 75? I drove by there sunday afternoon and couldn't believe what I seeing! There was literally a hundred vehicles and hundreds of people in the lot. I've never seen anything like it there before. The lot was full to the hilt. I usually use that particular lot/ boat ramp to. Not sure what I've would of done if I came back to the ramp to see that. . Quote
