Trent Wilson Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Steel, I'll be the first one to apologize for the slight hazing. Just trying to have a laugh. Post a pic and I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of it. Maybe even find you a place to buy them. Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted February 10, 2015 Super User Posted February 10, 2015 Sounds like a street lizard . Is that the same thing as a Lot Lizard? I drove a KW for a few years.. Lot lizards hang out in Truck stops! Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted February 10, 2015 Super User Posted February 10, 2015 You have stumbled upon a treasure. That particular lizard turns invisible upon someone spotting it. Of course, it's not practical for fishing, but as a collector's item I dare say you could get 50 grand for it. Quote

Dad owns a trucking company... Those lot lizards are interesting. I was the maintenance manager for a large truck stop for a few years, had to run off numerous "dates" and their "protection". Quote

Yup, had stickers on my truck, no lizards, it still didn't work, then I would hang my wife's undergarments out the window, still didnt work.. Complete and utter harassment.. Nothing worse than trying to grab a couple hrs sleep before hitting the road again, only to be startled awake by those types... 1 Quote

Dad said they would beat the heck out of the side of the truck or window to try to get you to let them in. Where I worked they were smart and completely disgusting at the same time. They would climb from truck to truck without every touching the ground... I caught a small group of them "cleaning up" with a garden hose behind our maintenance shop. Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted February 10, 2015 Super User Posted February 10, 2015 Its probably a komodo dragon... Quote

Yea, I was burned out after 3 years of cross country running and gunning.. Between driver unloads, paying lumpers, DOT harassment, Nevermind about trailer robberys, geez, it was rough at times, lol. It wasn't all bad, just mostly! Some things never change! Quote
