Trent Wilson Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Has anyone used these? I fish quite a bit of partially - mostly submerged trees around the banks and I'm usually caught fishing an unweighted crawdad worm with quite a good success rate. I'm kinda getting tired of my spinning outfit and prefer using my baitcaster. Would these be a good alternative? Quote
Trent Wilson Posted February 9, 2015 Author Posted February 9, 2015 They look awesome and at 3/8 oz, it's more than enough to throw on my baitcaster. And they're hooked like the old powerbait swim baits. I'm really tempted just for s&g. Quote
PondHopper96 Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Found a few of these at my uncles and just found out what they were called when I googled the name of this post! I don't recommend them, very little action, bad on grass or around grass imo. Never know though! I did have some high hopes for them! Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted February 9, 2015 Super User Posted February 9, 2015 Bought a package years ago. I've thrown one a few times, but never got bit. They look so good that I still carry them thinking that some day they're going to be exactly what the bass are wanting that day. Now thanks to subscriptions, I've got Mad Dads Cracklin Craw and something else. They all look good....but they're all still in my tackle box while I'm tossing jigs for some reason. Quote
Trent Wilson Posted February 9, 2015 Author Posted February 9, 2015 When I get around rock and bluffs, for some reason cranks and plastics seem nonexistent to me. Quote
