Ill be using wacky rig with orings so time will tell if they're any good. I have used the Salty Core Tube and that catches fish durability better than ika, hydra but prefer Ikas. Quote

Latter in the day he directed me to get the boat as close as I could to a boat moored at a dock. Big Swimbait Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Using an o-ring, I have not had any issues. They are soft, but that's what makes it work for me. I also use it on a spinning rod, so I can flip/pitch it instead of a 30 yard cast. Quote

I considered these last year, but choose to try the Netbait salt lick instead. This years experimental stick baits for me are the uvenko and BPS stickos. Using an Owner twistlock hook will help with some durability issues but not all. My most durable stick bait last year were the Big Bite Baits/Gander mountain trick sticks. Most productive, Senkos. hawgenvy Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I haven't tried the Keitechs and don't plan to, given the poor reviews as far as durability and the fact that I probably have 2,000 plastic baits stockpiled in my garage. However, I am intrigued by two great sounding concepts in the manufacturer's description: a salty core sealed by a surrounding layer that protects the salt from dissolving, and firmer plastic in the nose to keep the bait in place on the hook. I hope these features can be realized successfully and affordably in future plastics. Quote
Big Swimbait Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I like them a lot, but not very durable. Which is probably why I like the action. Use an o-ring & the baits will last longer. Gonna try them Neko style this Spring with the nail weight in the tail. Good luck! Quote
