Josh Smith Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Hi Folks, I'm wondering what the slowest-falling jig out there is? Total weight 3/8oz or more. Thank you, Josh Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted February 8, 2015 Super User Posted February 8, 2015 The one with the bulkiest skirt and bulkiest trailer. 5 Quote
Super User scaleface Posted February 8, 2015 Super User Posted February 8, 2015 I bought some last year, that had plastic heads. I never did use them . They are called slow fall jigs. I dont know the manufacturer. I'll have to try and find them. My tackle is so unorganized I dont know where they are . Quote

I ordered something called "So-Slo" jigs off eBay, but I guess they maybe aren't made any longer, and mine aren't here yet at any rate. Josh Quote
Ozark_Basser Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Skinny bear's the grizz flipping jig is a good one. Also I would assume siebert's mata jigs would have a good slow fall. Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted February 8, 2015 Super User Posted February 8, 2015 Check out the Zero Gravity Jig. TW has them. 3 Quote
moguy1973 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 My hand made jigs with real flat rubber skirts fall pretty slow. Quote
Comfortably Numb Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 No 3/8 jig will fall "slow". Floating line like braid helps. 1 Quote
TorqueConverter Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Buckeye Mini mops fall super slow due to their big plume of living rubber. The Siebert Outdoors jig with their high strand counts, some of them even featuring living rubber, are definitely worth a look. Quote
pbizzle Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Check out the Zero Gravity Jig. TW has them. Those things are CRAZY! Really cool concept. I'm really wanting to try some out. Quote

Super User scaleface Posted February 8, 2015 Super User Posted February 8, 2015 Here's one of the Slow Fall jig's I bought. I threw away the package so do not know who manufactures them. You can see the head is plastic with a weed guard molded into it. Quote
Josh Smith Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 Here are the So-Slo jigs: http://www.soslo.com/ I just got them in from eBay (cheap) and they look like they'll do what I want them to do. Regards, Josh Quote
