Super User everythingthatswims Posted February 6, 2015 Super User Posted February 6, 2015 Turns out, Massanutten has more than just stocked trout in their ponds. Because who would go to a ski resort and actually ski ? Hopping a 3/16oz Rippin Rap. My first Dwight shaped fish, weighed 2lbs. 8 Quote

Super User everythingthatswims Posted February 6, 2015 Author Super User Posted February 6, 2015 Nice fish...not too far from Masanutten are some really good wading spots too I prefer to use my 'yak on the 'doah. Everything I have read has said fishkill-fishkill-fishkill, apparently the smallies were hit really hard last winter so I haven't fished it. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted February 6, 2015 Super User Posted February 6, 2015 well i went up to the spot i am thinking of last summer and did quite well....the fish are there for sure. And the fish kills aren't really winter related, they believe them to be related to agricultural runoff. Quote
