Super User Darren. Posted February 5, 2015 Super User Posted February 5, 2015 I'll admit, the stuff is amazing. Cleans bathroom scum quite nicely 1 Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted February 5, 2015 Super User Posted February 5, 2015 I've seen the stuff destroy ink in slacks. Quote
Preytorien Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Those things work amazing. I bought a used Compre offline and had never cleaned the cork. I saw a while back a post on using Magic Erasers. Went and bought some, now that cork looks new. Looks great. Quote
Mattfrom_NJ Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Melamine sponges are cheaper and get the same result. Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 There are generic brands too, but the idea of a mild detergent with just enough abrasive to clean without altering shape is the main idea. Quote
kikstand454 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Yeah. ..the generics work just as well, but I find they don't last as long. So its give and take. Great comparison pics! Quote
Fisher-O-men Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Why clean 'em, they're just gonna get dirty again! Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted February 5, 2015 Super User Posted February 5, 2015 Love these for cleaning cork. Just be sure to seal them with some cork sealer like U40 after they dry. If not it leaves them with a dry feeling. Nice before and after for those interested. Quote
