Hand rod wrapper

110v drying motor

Epoxy for bonding

Epoxy for threads and decal

Tip top adhesive

Reamers

Brushes

Syringes for epoxy

Color fast thread

Reel seat with arbor

Carbon fiber handle with arbors

Guides with tip top

Tape

Alcohol torch

Blank

Buttcap (I plan on getting the CRB balanced butt cap. I wonder if it will fit in the back of the .98" carbon handle)

One winding check that fits above the reel seat. I'm not a fan of foregrips.

Am I missing anything? Any recommendations?

I plan on it. If I buy a blank from you guys and the handle, can you tell me what size reel seat I will need?

Can someone order directly from your website, or do they have to go through a supplier? I've looked at www.alpsforecast.com, www.rainshadowrodblanks.com,  and www.batsonenterprises.com, and I don't see any way to place an order. Maybe I'm blind.

Of course! That is what we do. If you go to www.rainshadowrodblanks.com when you go to rod series, they should have a "Blueprint" tab. There you will find suggestion builds for almost every one. If we don't have it, we can send you one if you would like.

Our dealer network is strong! Most if not all have our products in stock, and if not can get it to you very quickly. Sorry we do not sell direct. We want to help service all of our clients in different regions in case someone wants to touch and feel products. Since you live in Kansas, we have a dealer right in your area!!

I'd wait on the hand wrapper and dryer for two reasons. One, you may find this just isn't for you and have invested more than you can recoup. Second and more importantly, by hand turning the first rod or two you'll gain tremendous insight into how the epoxy behaves. While this may seem tedious (and it is) it will shorten the learning curve where finishing is concerned and that's the most difficult element to master imo.
