Karsonclowers Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I don't make professional grade lures cause I'm a teen now. So what I do all the time though is find things around the house and make lures with them. I have made one that worked right now. I used a marker body and shaped it and painted it with paint brushes. This is just what I do in my spare time. Anyone else use stuff around the house to make lures Quote

KyPondHopper Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I've made several with mixed results. I've used wire nuts as inline spinner bodies. The strangest one that actually catches fish is a beer bottle cap. Poke two holes in opposite sides of the cap, attach split rings. Fold the cap in half with a couple of bbs in it. To the split rings attach a treble hook and turn buckle. Quote
papajoe222 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Check out the bottle cap lure. Easy to make and they catch fish. Quote
