In each section include shallow & deep water

Pick a section & fish it from now until this time next year. It'll take a few years but do you want to "learn" it or just fish it.

And use Google Earth to find launches that will save you some time paddling all over creation. Yes electronic can give you an advantage but nothing on Earth can replace good old hands on experience. Time on the water is everything.
