Just lookin around to see if anyone else is uses bomber cranks almost exclusively. I mean I use a lot of rapalas too but not like my bombers. There's some other situational lures but not like my go toos

Fat Free Shads have worked great for me.

I use a lot of rapala dt6's also

The Bomber 4a is a classic.  So much so that both BPS and Cabelas market house brand knock offs.  I'm more of a BPS Nitro Crank guy than a 4a but we wouldn't have them if not for the pioneering 4a.  Gotta give credit where credit is due.  Fat Free Shads are fine cranks too.  Overall the Bomber stuff is affordability priced 'classic plastics'.  They are widely available, proven fish catchers that cover a lot of the water column.

I fish a lot of Bombers. Long A Minnows , Flat A's and Model A's . Long A's are post spawn lunker baits , Flat A's are fantastic in the Mississippi. Models A's are just a good all around bait. For some reason I've had my best luck in the fall with Model A's . I've had days when the weather was cold and miserable and the model A was the only bait I could find that works .

When nighttime fishing comes around, I pull out the old magnum tackle box stocked with nothing but bombers. That is, if they're not hitting the worms.

Are you talking about the old metal lipped bombers ? I have used them foe night fishing too .

I like Bomber Fat Free Shads, and a few other cranks, but they're not my favorite. I really like the BPS or Xcalibur stuff a little more...

Fat frees are mostly what my tournament box holds. First one of the season last year got us 2nd place bc of them. But dt6s are there too

Glad to see that there are other people out there that like the lures as much as I do. No one around my area really uses them except for me that is. But me being honest I actually only started using them about 3years ago on a camping trip that one of the tributaries to Raystown lake we were smallmouth fishing and had a little square bill bomber and it killed the smallmouth for 3 days. Never looked back

I use 8a's a lot. They got a good "knock" to them. Plus im a BIG fan of Tx3 hooks.

Would really like to get me some 8a's for this coming season. I'm a simple man when it comes to hooks usually swap out for gama's, or I'll get tired of having to order them from BPS I'll pick up a thing of eagle lasers from Wally World

Actually never had a whole lot of luck of square bills in general but really want to get into them more this year bc they are great

Bomber Square A's are great little squarebills, but they have more of a coffin style bill...

This is what they wanted last season for me.
