JiggaMan512 Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Yes.. i realize that this isn't exactly "Tacklemaking" but i thought the guys in this section might appreciate this (especially the time-consuming aspect) and it does ACTUALLY involve fishing tackle so i didnt feel comfortable puttin it in the "Everything Else" Section. My girlfriend ran across this in her Interior Design Course and thought i might enjoy it (so i thought ide share!) : This was made to resemble sea urchins by using thousands upon thousands of 2-3 inch segments of monofilament (nothing else used at all) Ok Sorry, this one is but CRAZY COOL constructed by Styrofoam cups and ONE dot of Elmer's glue for every FOUR cups used! Triton21 Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Can't you just see the Sea Urchins in original Stren and lit with a black light, Kelley Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 8, 2008 Super User Posted February 8, 2008 How did they do that? It is a work of art. Thanks for sharing. Quote
GitRDoneIke23 Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 That's pretty neat!! Somebody has WAAAAAAAY too much time on their hands! Quote
Brian_Reeves Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 shame you can't get a 20x20ft roll of the sea urchin stuff. Imagine that in your secret honey hole lake. Easy to fish and probably a good fish magnet. "yeah, i fish a monofiliment bed with my braided line. it's weird" ;D Seriously though, that is cool. I hope they got paid for that. That's a lot of hours. Quote
