JeziHogg Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Has anyone tried these? They actually look pretty nice... That being said, how are they in the water? Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted January 30, 2015 Super User Posted January 30, 2015 not high quality..tend to be fragile. They do look pretty decent and for the price theyre worth a try. Quote
IAY Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 I have tried the BBZ knock off, and I can tell you that I regret it. It only swims when you wake it, the tail is put on poorly(granted BBZ isn't that great either), and the compartments are just junk. Quote
Catch 22 Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 I got some from Ebay. They look good for sure and a few have a real wide angle wobble. I `m hoping the pike will like them real well and leave my LC`s alone. C22 1 Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 31, 2015 Super User Posted January 31, 2015 I suggest you stay with the proven USA or Japanese brands. China is known for its "knockoffs" which many times will fail. I would rather see someone buy one "expensive" USA bait than a bunch of cheap ones from China. 1 Quote

gobig Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Pretty sure the s-waivers are made in China and so are some other prominate baits. But stick with baits that are proven. Quote
powerduster Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 The generic chinese knock offs should probsbly be avoided, but the established american or japanese brand lures manufactured in china are okay. They probably have set standards. This actually reminds me, I was looking at sebile lures the other day and it says " Made in the PRC" which is basically China. PRC= Peoples Republic of China. I guess they don't think we're very bright. Quote
