I feel and smell like death. The last bout knocked me out for almost 2 or 3 weeks I just got back to "normal" now I'm back at it. Quote

Maybe you have tried this or maybe you haven't but are you taking enough vitamin supplements or eating healthy enough with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables? I changed my diet completely 6 months ago. My first step was eliminating fast food and cutting back on beverages containing high fructose corn syrup. I have replaced them with more fish and chicken, a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, various forms of green tea made by Yogi, and drinking more organic fruit drinks like naked juice. The amounts of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and infection fighting "helpers" in these foods/drinks help the body with many things including health and wellness. Just a thought if you feel like you have tried everything... Quote

Did you test positive for the flu? I was told Tamiflu needs to be taken in the first 48hours or it may not work. Quote

I was told Tamiflu needs to be taken in the first 48hours or it may not work. No flu. A cold that turned into Bronchitis, a nasty cough and a sinus infection. I was then diagnosed with post viral cough syndrome. They gave me an antibiotic for the sinus infection and whatever infection may still be in my Bronchial tubes. They also gave me Symbicort to open up the airways, and a steroid to generally help me recover. Sure hoping it all works! Yes, doctors here are prescribing Tamiflu for the flu. So far 17 have died with the flu here in San Diego. All had medical problems to begin with. Quote

I've become such a baby when it comes to being sick, I blame it on the gf. She takes such good care of me bringing me breakfast lunch or dinner in bed taking care of me. So now I'm a big wimp when it comes to getting sick I used to just tough it out. Quote

So now I'm a big wimp when it comes to getting sick I used to just tough it out. I'm the same way. We got (wife and I) got it so bad last year I had to call my dad to come get our kids. We couldn't even function enough to take care of ourselves... let alone little ones. Hope it gets better buddy. Quote

Sounds about right I gotta call my ex Inlaws and tell them to keep the boys overnight when they get off the bus. Gf will have to watch my daughter for me while I lay in bed like a vegetable lol. Last night though my daughter who is only 1 climbed in bed with me got under the cover gave me a kiss then went and got a book got back in bed babbled like a 13month old would thinking she's reading then gave another kiss and left the room. So even my 1 year old is taking care of me lol. My boys just avoid me like the plague and tell me not to get them sick and stay away lol. Quote
