Interesting question and one I don't remember seeing here; at least not recently.

So what is it that you dis-like about the reel handle of the casting reel you have ?

I'm not sure I'm seeing your angle here, are you maybe seeking a saltwater reel style of handle? As in a power handle w/ a counter balance?

I maybe just a stupid question That I posted

I mostly use spinning reels & when I go to the caster, it just feels weird, what is the purpose of the longer handles & offsets

It's not a stupid question at all and your reason is sound.

Many anglers prefer a longer or shorter handle.

Check out Hawgtech after market reel handles.  They are a sponsor here and make an excellent product.

Availability will be dependent on the make & model of your reel -

Also depending on what reel you have there may be a longer handle from another reel made by that company. You could order at a decent price. Maybe try it out and if you like it and it's what you were looking for then get a Hawgtech handle. Super nice product put out by them.

Your question is not stupid. I can understand fishing with a spinner for such a long time and then to a b/c, I can understand why the question was asked. Like the guys mentioned above. Hawgtech's are great handles and they have different lengths and styles. I for one really enjoy the ones I have. Having a longer handle than the stock handle may help you a lot. Good luck.

There are a few casting rods without triggers. I think evergreen has a few. There are some specialty rods with different shapes. The pagani jerkbait rod has a handle like a sword I am interested in.
