anyone still fish the 100d or 200d curados? i never owned one but see them pop up in classifieds from time to time and have thought about tryin one whenever a good deal comes along. the E and I series are two of my favorite reels

I own the dpv (5.1) and dhsv 7.1 models ... And like them both .. They have to me most of the good features of new tackle technology and the good of the old technology ... I use them for my smaller swimbait reel and for top waters etc .. Smooth .. Strong .. Solid aluminum ... Just a little less smooth than one my e series or even the i series ... I'm kinda a curado ***** ... u can buy them for a good price .. If U want a small ree or have small hands don't get it ...

I've got 2 100D's still in rotation.   They are awesome little reels.  I would take a 100D over a 50E every day of the week, and I like the 50E.

The most over built and supposedly toughest of all Curados.  Never owned one, but son has a couple of Citica D's.  The battleship of low profile Shimanos.

×2 I still use my D's and they are still smooth after many years. I can't say that about any shimano casting reels I've owned since.

I have and use four Curado D's and they are built like a tank and very nice reels. They are still going strong.

I still have 2 200d's.  They are great and I've never had any problems with them.  I need to send them off to get cleaned though its been a while.

I've got a 101D. It's the least expensive reel I own, but has always given me great service, just keep them cleaned and oiled.

I have three 200Ds that I use for regular small swimbait service. They are tanks.

There are a lot of these still in service. I've got a few on thee bench right now. The 100's are a nice size

Hey Mike - you already sent my six 101D's back to me!
