Super User Dwight Hottle Posted February 6, 2015 Super User Posted February 6, 2015 Probably 100 plus days per year. The rest of the time I am thinking about fishing and resting up. Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 From April through November I fish in between 120-150 days on average. Last year was 127 days. Some of those days especially when it is warmer the first cast is 15 minutes or so before sunrise and the last cast is an hour or two after sunset. I will stay out even longer if the night bite is on. Got to be prepared for those long 16 hour days. Quote
Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted February 10, 2015 Super User Posted February 10, 2015 I fish pretty much everyday that there's not ice. This year my last day was on Christmas, the next day it was frozen over. Last year I fished from April 1st -December 25th. I say out of those 267 days I fished 250 days. that's about right. Also I'd say about 3/4 of the 250 days I fished, were 5 or more hours fishing but mostly on the North side of 5 I Kept logs last year for the first time. All the info i now have on my trips is awesome, just to look at for my self. Will be doing it again this year and recommend it ! Quote
troutbum1 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I fish all year when i can. Saltwater, freshwater, fly fishing for trout, Winter i hit the trout streams once a week. spring to winter I'll fish 3 to 4 times a week. Nice being retired. Quote
Dylcook91 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Good question, I have never counted. I will try to this season. I do know that it's as many as physically and mentally possible due to other non-important(work) obligations that get in the way. Quote
