I use the SK hollow bodied frogs. And the Havoc pit boss, in addition to a pitching/punching bait + jig trailer, also gets used as a soft plastic frog, just one of many uses for this versatile bait.

During the TW Christmas sale, I scooped up 10 of the Boze Sumo frogs.  Looking forward to using those, as in the past I have mostly used LiveTarget.

I also have a Spro Bronzeye Frog and Shad that I am dying to use as well.  Considering all the frogs I have, I should be good for awhile... although I have always wanted to try out the Slither K...

Koopers and the under appreciated, seldom talked about, little 'ol Scum Frog.

I know, I know, all the mainstream brands like Spro, Live Target, Ish's Phat etc. and all the other mainstream brands get a lot of play here and are good product's that work well for most, somebody has to stick up for the little guy ;)

Hollow body: I like live target

Soft body : lake fork frogs or the zoom horny toad

Hard: I don't use hard frogs .. I believe if that action is what they want a better bait can be used to achieve it imo

I use 3 brands of hollow bodies, in this order:

-Booyah pad crasher/poppin pad crasher(best bang for buck IMO, soft yet durable, smaller profile)

-Spro(a little harder than the rest but they last longer and have good colors)

-KVD sexy frog(like the action and hook angles but in my experience they take on much more water than the others)

For soft body frogs rage toads get the call, but I have a few spare gambler cane toads and stanley ribbits on call for when I run out of the rage tails. Lol

Like others, never thrown a hard bodied frog.

The hollow body frog the Hogs are Smash'n!!

I have a collection of hollow bodies and for some reason the fish are picky from day to day. Be killing a spro one day and not look at it the next, but tie on a Live Target and get it crushed.

I just filled one of my boxes with KVDs sexy frogs and a few BOOYAH pad crashers. I have one SPRO in there also. Last year was my first time using frogs and I couldn't get enough. Just waiting till I can hit the ponds again.

I pretty much only fish hollow belly frogs my favorite being the Booyah Pad Crasher. It's soft, walks great, and hooks up well. Not to mention, it's also cheaper than a lot of frogs. After the Booyah's though I'd say Spro Bronzeye Frog, then Livetarget, and then the Bronzeye Shad. I've got some different ones to try out this coming year to see if my favorites change.

This post drew me out of the lurking mode. lol  The subject is near and dear to me.  I'm addicted to frog fishing,  it's pretty much all I do, and I'm afraid I led some friends into the same addiction. I just can't stop throwing a frog.

I've tried most of the hollow body and soft body frogs out there, and eventually narrowed it down to the soft bodied  Zman hard legs. I fish mostly pads, but they work great in open water also, and I even do well on smallmouth with them on my annual trip to Maine. I did use ribbits for quite some time, but the Zmans are way more durable and I like the fact that they float. I don't think I'll ever use anything else. I saw the mention of the Dalberg diving frog, I  grabbed some when they came out and couldn't wait to use them, the legs look so good in the pads, but they were a major disappointment to me, don't even have them in the boat anymore.

Out of all the ones I've tried (Livetarget, Booyah, Spro, River2Sea) my favorite would the Spro Bronzeeye Popper. Haven't had mine long enough to know how they'll hold up but they flat out catch fish.
