Hollow-Belly: Livetarget frogs

Soft: Stanley Ribbit Frog

Hard: Livetarget Popper

Posted

Booyah pad crasher, spro frog, live target mouse. All hollow body.

Soft: Rage toad(someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Hard: don't use

They are the best I have ever used and by a fairly large margin at that. TW sells them but in limited colors... They are spendy but man, they walk like a dream and almost always hook up. Totally worth it IMO.

I've pretty much boiled all my frog fishing down to 2, the Jackall Iobee and Ish's Phat Frog.

Those are 2 excellent frogs

Since LiveTarget debut i have pretty much exclusively fished with them. Occasionally, a Booyah pad crasher. The jackall lobee has peaked my curiosity as well.

Holy bahgebus! At $20 a pop, and as often as I loose them I don't know if I could put that down on a frog. Spro, KVD, and my cheap Matzuo's work just fine.

How are you losing frogs?  I don't think I've ever lost one.

A lake I love to fish has bass heaven snugged right next to northern territory. So I lost 1 or two there.

But when I want to have fun I frog for northerns to.. I have pulled in a 30in from fogging a shallow flat. That paired with the 12 lb mono at the time I was using... this has changed though.

I always forget some of you guys have toothy fish.  That makes total sense.

Yeah. I pluck from the top could be Northern, but I have seen northern trying to leave the water in chase of food. And when I have hooked them they will do this at times to.

At times it can be as fun as northern fishing, but retrieving a hook can be a little interesting at times.

Well run what makes you happy for sure! I catch fish with "regular" frogs too but the question was what's your favorite. Slither k hands down for me. They are simply the epitome of a perfect frog for me. I have lost frogs before but thankfully not one of those haha... I might cry.

I have actually lost a lunk3rhunt frog even though I was running steep leaders once. Sometimes there's nothing you can do.

Spro Dean Rojas Bronzeye Frog in Leopard color is all I use. But then, it's the only frog I own.

Even with a leader sometimes it's not enough.

I think frogs I am still am willing to skimp. I said this same thing though about cranks a year or so ago. "$20 on a *****! Never!" And have been buying BBZ's, Shell cracker, and most recently my BBZ Rat. So I think right now on cranks I think $50 is crazy.

Now I would pay for another Dalhburg diver. But I already have two.
