Hi all. My name is Matt, and I currently hail from Western MA Along the CT river. I just moved here from Bernardston MA, and absolutely breathe bass fishing! I fish all over VT, NH, MA, and will probably venture to NY and CT this year as I will be purchasing my first bass boat come springtime. I fish mostly for largemouth and smallmouth, but will target some big Northern Pike on occasion. I build my own Bismuth jigs and pour some dropshot weights to maintain legality for these ridiculous lead laws we have. I couldn't find a good forum online that had a good amount of traffic and finally found this place. it'll keep me sane through the long winter! Cheers!

Greetings from your neighbor in Greenfield.

I throw the bismuth/tin jigs that I pour, paint and dress at the smallmouth in Quabbin Reservoir as well as other baits.

Welcome ! This a great forum with ton of information and a lot of really good anglers. I fish VT, NH, and a lot in Maine. I see Somerset is your favorite lake. Lots of quality smallmouth in there. Maine is worth the drive if you want to catch lunker largemouth and a ton of fish ! Good luck out there.  There is a bunch of ocal anglers on the Northeast fishing section under the southern NH thread.
