Brnnoser6983 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Okay quick question. I just bought a bunch of Roboworms. Is it okay to put them say in a Plano hard case ment for worm storage? I know some like Berkley leaches dry up rock hard, and some will melt together. I just want to know what's safe. Quote

zeth Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Just keep them in the bags. It's easier and costs less. I keep all soft plastics in original packaging until needed and then they go into a Plano just for that day. They seem to last longer and the scent lasts longer if there is any. 1 Quote

Better question is how to store/carry Salty Core Sticks or Rage Lizards. Quote

I'm not that confident on using them, nor now how to properly use them. Quote

Sometimes the original bag is to big and I cut off the top, only because I like to keep the label around and not have to guess the color or size of a worm. I wouldn't put my worms in a plano. The ones I have usually go dry or melt a bit and get all sticky. Just not worth it. Also *** is awesome. lol. I really would love to find a website with free shipping without a minimum order. I also wouldn't mind finding a cheaper option for my stick baits than Gary Yamamoto's. I have tried some of the cheaper stuff and just haven't gotten the same results Quote

I will get a box of those ziplock snack bags, put a couple of each worm in separate bags, and throw them in a worm file. Cuts down on lugging 20lbs of worms on the jon boat or bank fishing. It's worked out so far, but it sure is hard to leave all the stuff at home. I always feel like I left something I might need...lol Quote

Might be a buoyant substance they use? Quote
