I've seen light colored gills.

I got both in different rof

Dark crappie would have been nice if it was spotted like black crappie

Mine runs light, although mine is the mh 7'6" version its limit is around 3.5 mayyyyyybe 4oz, not the rated 5oz. If they all run a lil light like that then Id opt for the 7'11"  2-10oz, I know rippin-lips has a 7'11" not sure of the model tho, maybe he can chime in on how his feels....

I have the 7'11 heavy 1-6oz is its rating. Anything up to around 4oz max is all I've thrown. Over that I'd go XH. You figure the sweet spot of most rods is about 1/2 of its max rating. The heavy works good for 8" hudds though.

That's a good idea.

Looking forward to reading the reviews.

In for 2. I love the idea of a weedless gill but think I like the look of the Mattlures better

I'm with you on that. If he offered a weedless gill I'd have no reason to pick these up.

I have 3 light Bluegill ROF 5 and 3 Dark Bluegill ROF 12 on the way, I went with a different color for each ROF so I can tell them apart .

Bumping the thread.

The website appears to have sold out of all the new gills.

This friday will be 4 weeks. Time flies.

Did Ken stop putting the ROF on the back of the tails or something??

I just ordered a couple, one light and one dark. Both ROF 12, I saw a video review that with the ROF 5 you have to really slowly crawl them or they will rise too fast and swim on their side.

Ordered a few days ago by the way, I was watching the timer on the site and when it hit zero, I placed the order...

Cant wait to get them, wont be till after the spawn though...
