BIG M Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 here is a small 4.5 inch swim bait. I was just playing around with the paint on this. What does everybody think? Quote
bmadd Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 It looks real good to me BigM. Is the top color all purple? It looks almost blue on the sides. What kind of action does that thing have? Quote
flippincrazy Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 That color looks pretty good. It would do well on one of the lakes I fish up here in ohio. Quote
Brian_Reeves Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 I'd fish it here in texas. Looks like a color that I like to use. You're work always rocks man. Quote
BIG M Posted January 13, 2008 Author Posted January 13, 2008 bmadd, that is transparent payn's grey scaled over silver with shimer blue sprayed over the grey, turns it blue. the purple stripe is just down the back. Action is pretty cool, front half just the back rolls with a strong tail kick. I feel like is going to catch a few fish this spring. Quote
ejtaylor822 Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 As always - very, very nice. Really like your work. Question: How do you get the "hinges" / coupling to line up? Are you making your own from wire and expoying them in? I've been toying with the idea of make some multi-part swims but unsure how to get the connectors just right. Quote
BIG M Posted January 20, 2008 Author Posted January 20, 2008 Yes sir, I twist my own hangers and epoxy in. Quote
