Every once in a while I toss out a T-rigged 7" Yum Dinger senko-type stick bait. It's big and fat so it tends to attract the big mama LMB, like this 4 pounder from just after sunset today. I intended to order some more 7 inch Dingers. But TW and BPS don't carry Yum Dingers at all, and the Yum site has only 4, 5,and 6 inch Dingers. Oh, well. I have an email to Yum asking about the sevens. Meanwhile, anyone know of any salted stickbaits as big and fat as the 7 Dinger?

Nice Scale! Er, fish.. Lol... Uh, I use the senko brand but I can't remember off hand if they are 6" or 7" but they are magnum size, BPS brand has a mag. Size as well... Nice fish!

BPS and TW don't have the new ones in stock yet. Yum redesigned pretty much their whole line and it's just starting to come out now. I do believe they discontinued the 7" Dingers as they didn't sell nearly as many as the other sizes.

I'm a fan of the 7 inch bait myself (secretly - Shhhh)

I have an account with Yum and just emailed them to ask about this very thing.

I'll pass on the word once I get it.

Fingers crossed.

Got a nice response from Mr Stephen Biggerstaff at Yum ~

Not what I wanted to hear  . . . "We are very sorry but we no longer carry the 7 inch dingers"

Bummer.

The Bass Pro Shops Stik-O Worm - 7-1/8'' is a decent and similarly priced replacement.

Thank you for the link -

But the $8 a bag puts them in the original Senko price bracket.

They last twice as long!

You're right and that does make them a better deal.

But I liked getting them for a couple of bucks less.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I heard from Stephen at Yum also. They discontinued 7" due to poor sales. Still available here and there till stock runs out.

Bassontheline has them, and I truly appreciate the link, but I can't bring myself to pay the ridiculous shipping fee of $20 (standard shipping) for 4 little bags of worms. Will prob buy some Zoom Magnums. I have never tried them but they do look delicious.

I generally throw the 5" GYCB senko. I catch more fish on it then other baits so it is worth the increased cost. Plus the O-rings also get me more bites out of each worm too. When I am looking for a bigger profile worm, I throw the BPS Mag they are 6-7" and have a much fatter profiled than a typical bait. They kill in the baby bass color, and they hold up well. Surprisingly they catch a lot of smaller fish as well. I would give this bait and the zoom magnums/ole monster a try they both produce constantly for me. Best of luck.

P.S. This is why I buy bait in bulk, I never want to run out of a few of my staple lures/colors/etc.

I just bought 3 packs from the walmart in my neighborhood on the clearance rack.. 1.98 per pack

I was at the Bass Pro outlet and they had a handfull of the 7" Dingers for like $2.50 or something like that.  You could possibly give them a call and see if they can send them to you. I am not sure if that would work out, but why not give it a shot?

Hawg, you will not be disappointed by that choice. I tried the magnum finesse worms and did quite well! On cloudy overcast days black or redbug did well and on clear sunny days houdini was the ticket. I really can't say enough about how good this worm has been this year!

I am grateful, Whitwolf. I will definitely, and soon, buy some packs of Zoom Magnum finesse worms in various colors during my next costly spree at T***.com. My wife, as you might imagine, so looks forward to the series of brown boxes that show up on my doorstep, filled with incomprehensible plastic bits. I will reassure her that the great Houdini himself, as well as the Whitwolf of Morgantown, have inspired this lucky purchase. I will explain that bass must be caught in great numbers repeatedly, and released thereafter, generally with only minor physical and psychological injuries, and that this box will assist me greatly in that very useful and healthy enterprise.
