I am so making one of those pots that you pour out of. It's freakin sweet. Just a little curious on how you got the "tap" on there.  Nice Tom Petty in the background BTW.

This one isnt tapped just a hole with a compression 3/8" compression fitting to 1/4" NPT. StratosdadRI AKA Dad, cut the compression side threads so the fewest stuck inside the pot then also cut the compression nut to make a very thin nut and just tightend it up. A few turns of some teflon tape makes sure it leakfree.

But this still sticks up about 3/16" inside so we tilt the entire pouringstation a bit to get the most out of the pot.

Here is a great link to a 7 page article on how to make a simular wax version. http://www.candletech.com/budgetmelter/index.htm I do not reccomend putting it in the side since you will leave at least enough plastic to make 50 Sticks in the pot. Also since the entire nozzle valve needs to stay hot to prevent clogging you need to be as close as possible to the heat ring on the bottom. Yesterday in 25 degree weather the nozzle never clogged once. We have experimented with differnet size nozzzles as well as a longer one but found the tip cooled and clogged the tip. All the parts are real cheap so Testing doesnt cost much!!!

It will be highly modified soon with a taped one with zero threads protruding inside as well as a automatic stirer and a jig to hold the molds.

Uh Oh, sounds like you guys are going into high gear. ;) This could get dangerous.

Yup only another 6-8 weeks until we hit the water again. The Park is usually ice free by the mid March. So I need jig trailers.

I see a garage full of equipment in your future, No place to park any vehicles, just mountains of baits, molds, pouring pots...

This is why I haven't started doing it yet. The wife knows, once I get into something, I go all out full hardcore. (look at the 5.0 for example) Might be easier and cheaper for me to keep Brent in bussiness  ;D ;D ;D
