The tiller will give you more floor space for tackle & ice chest. Less overall weight Easy to drive! I can let go of the tiller & it'll track straight 3 Quote

If you move your weight forward with a console, the boat is going to ride more level, especially with a smaller motor. I'm assuming you're looking at around a 40hp. If your bow is pointed upward, you're going to loose some line of sight. If you did get a tiller, I would get power trim if it's an option. It will be easier to get on plane. You would be able to drop the bow down to increase performance and lower fuel consumption. My home water is the busiest waterway per acre in the United States. I wouldn't be caught out there on a weekend after 11:00am without a wheel boat. 1 Quote
