Nice pea !

I'm little jealous, the only peas I'm catching are less than pound, and not getting them everyday.

Nice catch!

I've been seeing them and they see my bait but have other things in mind apparently. At least someone is catching them

How far south in Florida does a guy have to go to get into some peas? My wife wants to go to Florida in May for our 5 year anniversary and I'm really thinking I'm going to have to get us a day to go try to catch some of those, a bucket list fish for me for sure!

From West Palm Beach,  South. The farther South you go increases your possibility of running into one.

This one was little challenging. However, once I changed baits it was game over.

Yea, a really nice, beautiful fish! How can you tell a male from a female on these? Just curious..

If you look closely on top of its head there is a notch. Sometimes they are more defined than others. Males have the notch. Females are smaller.

This is what a manly man peacock looks like. Caught last June.

I.rar, that's a unique hump indeed. I have never seen one like that before. I wonder if they become more pronounced during the spawn?

It's the most pronounced hump I've ever seen on any peacock, even some being twice it's size. Not sure about the spawn thing but it would make sense.
