Super User SirSnookalot Posted January 19, 2015 Super User Posted January 19, 2015 Nice pea ! I'm little jealous, the only peas I'm catching are less than pound, and not getting them everyday. Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted January 19, 2015 Super User Posted January 19, 2015 Swim jig bassin at its best. Nice pea Lou. Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 20, 2015 Global Moderator Posted January 20, 2015 How far south in Florida does a guy have to go to get into some peas? My wife wants to go to Florida in May for our 5 year anniversary and I'm really thinking I'm going to have to get us a day to go try to catch some of those, a bucket list fish for me for sure! Quote

From West Palm Beach, South. The farther South you go increases your possibility of running into one. Quote

Super User F14A-B Posted January 20, 2015 Super User Posted January 20, 2015 Yea, a really nice, beautiful fish! How can you tell a male from a female on these? Just curious.. Quote

If you look closely on top of its head there is a notch. Sometimes they are more defined than others. Males have the notch. Females are smaller. Quote
I.rar Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 This is what a manly man peacock looks like. Caught last June. Quote

It's the most pronounced hump I've ever seen on any peacock, even some being twice it's size. Not sure about the spawn thing but it would make sense. Quote
