flipin4bass Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 Now let's see those babies on water! "But they're not for fishin...they're just for lookin." These 10 lures will never see the water. Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted January 18, 2015 Super User Posted January 18, 2015 Nice collection! I do agree about their artistic qualities. Sure beats most of that abstract "art" in museums! Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted January 18, 2015 Super User Posted January 18, 2015 Beautiful baits/sculptures! Quote
DirtyDeuceGoose Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Absolutely beautiful. Fabulous collection sir. Quote
flipin4bass Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 Now let's see those babies on water! They do have a good action in the water, but I don't think I could throw any of these in the lake. I'll use the cheaper Pop Max...same action. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3f_sAZSiN4 Quote
primetime Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I love topwater fishing, I try to buy at least 1 of every kind as sort of a collection, but when it comes to walking an open faced popping lure, I would put the Sebile Splasher as the best imo. It come is a smaller sizes that cast a mile but they make a 90mm that is killer and it can walk like a champ, push a ton of water, and with the liquid filled glitter to imitate the scales of a baitfish falling off, I find the amber fashion gold and then the sun and salt colors to be some of the best designed topwater lures....For walking lures it is tough to beat the Bonga minnow which at only 95mm weighs an ounce, and at 72mm almost 3/4 and walks and glides at slow retrieves...I like the Megabass stuff, I am just afraid to throw it and lose em, but I love some of the innovation...nice collection, nice sharp walk....
