You know that Gary Loomis has a new company right? www.northforkcomposites.com

I am aware of NFC rods.  I don't know anybody who's fishing them right now so I haven't had a chance to test them yet.

It is going to be an expensive year. Lol. Now if I could just stop buying reels from the far East...been an expensive Winter.

Which X4 are you thinking about?

Destruction. I've heard great things about it, especially from tackletour. Let me know what you think of yours :D

The X4 Destruction is an amazing and versatile stick...you can simply cover so much with it....blades, swimbaits, jigs, spoons, frogs, plastics, etc.

I'll be sticking with my usual brands ... Falcon and Cousins. But, I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on one of the new Falcon Lowriders and seeing how they compare to the previous version.

I have a Dobyns DX742sf on the way and I'm super excited.

I'm planning on buying my first Dobyn's DX, just to see what all the fuss is about.  I need a good BFS rod, might go factory, might go custom.  The rest will probably be customs.

Edit, I could see adding a GLX or NRX to the stable too.

I just picked up a GLX and NRX and I was blown away with the quality. I used to wonder why people spent that kinda money and it became self explanatory when I actually fishes them

Will be getting an Orachi XX EMTF and an *** Black medium casting rod.

Hopefully this is the year I can go all custom.  Been selling off my old stuff to fund a bunch more blank purchases for myself :-)
