Just booked a trip to Lake Cobbosseecontee in Maine the last week of July. Everything looks great by the reviews but never been there before. Anyone fish this lake have any suggestions they would share? Any suggestions on a good lake map to order?

I would suggest fishing a Frog early and late in the day. Being July the lake can get very very busy for the majority of the day. There are a lot of humps in that lake to fish. Night fishing can be really good in late July.

Great lake to fish, I have been going there for 12 years. I usually go up in August, topwater action early and late for sure. Deep points dragging jigs, but dont be afraid to fish shallow either. There are a couple of really nice shallow weedy coves that I have caught big ones out of, im talking 2ft or less.  One common spot for smallies is the lighthouse. There are alot of humps as well. There is also a beaver d**n thats usually good for a few fish. You will definitely enjoy your trip.

Thanks for the information, the more I research this lake the more I can't wait. The one thing I am still wondering is, what is a good map for it. Hoping to get one online before I go to review.

I stayed there many times, Andy is a nice guy. I believe he has some good maps right there in the check in office, thats where I got mine when I first went up there.
