Super User Hi Salenity Posted March 17, 2015 Super User Posted March 17, 2015 Wasn't that the place that said we'd have to charge our batteries in the rooms each night? I apparently talked to the new girl. I called back and talked to the owner and she said they have several outdoor plugins including by the pool and on a pole at the parking lot. She promised me parking and charging our boats would not be a problem. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 17, 2015 Author Global Moderator Posted March 17, 2015 That sounds much better. I'll try to remember to check them out. Do you happen to remember what the prices and sizes of the cabins were like? Quote
RangerDanger Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I was just thinking last night we need to lock down lodging. River View looks cool too. What would stop you from running an extension cord out of the room. My opinion would be to stay close to the lake in a country setting in lieu of a city setting. Might be fun to get on the White. What is the schedule? Show up Friday leave Sunday? Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted March 17, 2015 Super User Posted March 17, 2015 The small cabins had 2 beds and were 80-90/night and had a place for at least 1 boat in the driveway. Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted March 17, 2015 Super User Posted March 17, 2015 This is the name of the place on FB Riverview Cabins AndCanoes Quote

Super User Hi Salenity Posted March 17, 2015 Super User Posted March 17, 2015 Me and Coty are planning on heading down Friday morning sometime after I take my kids to school and I'll probably be ready to head back by noon on Sunday. Quote

cbass12 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Jon and I are planning on getting there Friday morning and staying until Sunday afternoon. Same here, drop my kids off at daycare at 0700 and then I'm good to go. Depending on when Tinberg leaves I may have to bum a ride with you if that's possible. Quote

sizzlefry Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 That's what I'd like to do also. I can not leave till I get off work at 430 is anyone else going Friday night that I can ride with. Are the rooms booked or are we to do that our selves? Quote

Depending on when Tinberg leaves I may have to bum a ride with you if that's possible. This is the time frame I'd like to be leaving town, pick up my boat down south and head to Arkansas. Still could get a good half day of fishing in. We're hoping to be there by then but depends if I can find someone to cover the back half of my shift. Whoa leaving real early. I can not leave till I get off work at 430 is anyone else going Friday night that I can ride with. Are the rooms booked or are we to do that our selves? Almost not worth it to go to Arkansas fish for a day and a half. You're not going to be able to get down there until 9 or 10 on Friday. Might just need to meet us down there. Let us know what we need to do to secure lodging, would be best if one person could secure the rooms. Maybe they would let one person reserve and the others could call and and spread out the deposit. It's not real fair to have the reservation deposit for 10 guys on all on one guy. Quote
kanasbassfisher08 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 About to make another order for a rod and reel and I think I'll almost be ready. But man I can't wait for this trip. Going to dread coming home that's for sure! Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 25, 2015 Author Global Moderator Posted March 25, 2015 I called about the cabins this morning they have medium and large cabins that are still available both sleep 6 a night the medium are 99 a night the large are 119 a night. the medium has one queen one sofa and 1 full size bed. the large has two queen size beds and one sofa and the beds are in separate rooms. they said tower prep charging batteries would not be in issue the medium cabins are closer to the road but the largest are a little more secluded Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted March 25, 2015 Super User Posted March 25, 2015 What place did u call? Quote

RangerDanger Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 So less than $50 each for both nights in the larger cabins? That's acceptable to me. Did they say what they wanted for a deposit? Quote
conorsixtakc Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 6.58 lb smallmouth caught on stockton this weekend: https://www.facebook.com/fishstocktonlake/photos/a.736518326366191.1073741829.148580081826688/975764515774903/?type=1&theater not a bad place to visit in the spring apparently Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 31, 2015 Author Global Moderator Posted March 31, 2015 Not many fish I'd rather catch than a smallies that size, a 43lb striper is one of those though. 1 Quote
Wachati Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Well I went ahead and booked my place at Beaver, couldn't wait any longer fearing that the lodging will fill up. If you guys end up staying at riverview, I'm about 13 mins away. It's a 3 bedroom and sleeps 7. I'm booked for 2 people, it's $25/night per additional guest per night. I'm sure I can add people at any time, so if anyone can't find a place let me know. Probably room for 2 more, any more than that and you'd be sharing a queen bed. Quote
RangerDanger Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I just saw a photo from a buddy that went out on the White just below Beaver from last night with 55 carp laid on the the bank. No sizzle we are not going to shoot carp! final answer Are we going to do a group lodging or are we on our own? Quote
