Fall asleep while trolling a big crank and have a 40lb striper eat it and you won't own that rod anymore  :eyebrows:

This is my all time favorite place to stay. They rent out the 2 rooms above the bar. It makes for an awesome weekend getaway!

They don't have squat for parking so don't bring your boat.

Looks like we could lose a few guys in that place!

Food looks amazing though!

Been doing a lot of research on past fishing reports for Beaver around the time we'll be there. Lots of talks of largemouth and spots on beds, with postspawn smallies smacking topwater. The dam, Prairie Creek, and Rocky Branch are the locations that seem to get mentioned the most.

Tinberg, you'll have to go to the Big Dipper for your cream. It's in down town Eureka and it's good! I've gone to the other place but haven't tried the ice cream yet. It's a gas station but they sell Cap Guns!

It's one of my kids favorite places in the world!

I'm going to Eureka Saturday, does anyone want me to stop by a particular hotel/cabin and see if it looks like a place that will fit us and are boats and be able to charge our batteries?

Eureka must be a much nicer town than Rogers. It's $40 a night for a hotel in Rogers, $60 on up in Eureka? The more I look around the more I don't think there's any way we're going to do better than Spider Creek in price, location, and amenities. The cabins have full kitchens so we can cook if we want to save some money that way and full fridges for plenty of cold drinks. They're going to cost about the same per person as a cheaper hotel, only they appear to be much nicer. It's 1.8 miles to the closest ramp on Beaver from Spider Creek, and it's only about 15 minutes to Eureka if we want to go into town for a drink or something to eat. I'd say if you want to swing through there and look just to make sure there's no fancy camera work going on in the pictures, and that we're going to be able to park 5 trucks and boats, I think that's going to be the best route that I can see. Anyone else feel free to toss out any suggestions though.

Are you thinking of one cabin or more than that ? How many beds and bathrooms?
