Poolshark Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Oddly, being a st croix fan, I was looking at one of these. It didn't have a full lifetime warranty like the avids I own. I think it was 15 years. I Beleive, however, that it is the same blank but with a split grip and micro guides. Those were the only differences I could spot. Quote

ibobpeb Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Yep I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority too that's why St Croix doesn't make them in that configuration lol. I value portability of a 2 piece over the perceived sensitivity of a 1 piece because I travel 52 times a year by plane for business. I also fish remote locations often require trekking a few miles through dense woods/bushes to reach water. I just can't bring along a 1 piece rod with me. Quote
