BassSlayer71 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 What area are you fishing by chance? D-bomb's are usually highly effective out there. Of course the A-rig but I'm not a fan. When you get a little closer, google "Guntersville Bass fishing reports." There is usually some great information on there. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 12, 2015 Super User Posted January 12, 2015 I caught this 7.49 lb beauty on a Fat Ika: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/lake-guntersville-2012.html 1 Quote

We are staying near goose pond. but we can drive and put in where ever thanks for all the info everyone. that lake is so big it is overwhelming. Quote
BassSlayer71 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Goose Pond has been awesome over the years. Gets a lot of pressure though. Love that area. Honeycomb and Town Creek are some others I have fished in the past and really like. Quote
rowyourboat Posted January 12, 2015 Author Posted January 12, 2015 thanks for the advice. when do they typically spawn down there? do you think the spawn will be on? still pre spawn? or already over? Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted January 13, 2015 Super User Posted January 13, 2015 Don't leave your Traps or Spots at home. They get the job done also. A Royal Shad colored Super Spot is a top producer before the grass gets matted. Quote
