Super User gardnerjigman Posted January 12, 2015 Super User Posted January 12, 2015 That is a sad sad story jigman... Part of me feels like I should have "finished" spot, he got hit between 12:30 and 1:00AM and died around 3AM. Half of me knew he wouldn't make it, but the other half just couldn't let go of him and I kept saying just make it to the morning and we'll go to the vet. I just don't have the guts do do something like that I guess, I made him as comfortable as i could for his last moments. It's tough buddy. My situation was a no choice one on ending it. If there had been a glimmer of hope, I would have done the same. 1 Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted January 12, 2015 Super User Posted January 12, 2015 sorry to hear man. buddies like that are hard to find and harder to let go. i had a jack russell that passed away on me a few years ago that killed me, but oddly enough happened the same day my nephew was born so it was an odd time... after a while my wife and i got another pup, a total mutt and she picked him out. Tripp turned out to be a killer dog, and he's my main man on fishing trips. sorry to hear of spot. Quote
