five inch paddle tail worm. would u know how to keep the air pockets out of them. In the front, there is a section that is just air and makes the front float. Any ideas. I use molds with self injectors.  (sorry for the blurry picture). http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/uploads/gallery/album_1535/tn_gallery_46930_1535_1029036.jpg

Your link did not work for me.  If your mold is metal, heat it up a bit. Warm up your injectors.  Reduce your plastisol heat.  Inject at a slower rate.

One of those or maybe all of those may help you solve your problem.  I had to do all of them to get one of my molds to work right.  Trial and error added to experience is your best bet.

the bait will draw plastic from the sprue as the bait cools , and if theres not enough reserve in the sprue then it'll draw what ever plastic that it can , then it'll suck in air .

best thing to do is to keep the sprue topped off and don't over heat the plastic

Enforcer nailed it. Inject and hold slight pressure 5 saecs. Hand pour plastic into the sprue as it goes down. Large bodied baits or multy cavities you will need to top off more than once.

Sounds dangerous. Is that those clear plastic molds with the plastic plunger thing?
