Has anybody ever stumbled across these pens that were empty? Albeit cheap, the best I can find is ebay. I cannot find these things anywhere. I've tried gun shops, lowes, menards, home depot, wal mart, auto shops. Am I missing I someplace?  Looking for something to put just the finest drop of different oils on different parts of reels.

Have you tried any hobby shops that have radio control vehicles, planes, boats  etc . Any HobbyTownUSA stores in your area?

The brand Trinity has micro oilers sold at hobby shops & other brands as well.

I know they sell the generic pull and push plastic type. I'd be hard pressed to see the fine needle syringe on a shelf in a pharmacy. I know heroin was an issue for a while but it's been a few years. I mean..they sell bongs in music shops..

Bass Pro has them from Daiwa.  It is reusable but the plastic isnt the best and you'll only get a few refills before it degrades.  INOX has a reusable needle oiler and their oil is the best.  Its wider than a pen but still small and the needle has a cant that helps get into noks and crannys.

I tried to find it on their website, but at Sportsmans Warehouse I bought an empty precision oil bottle in their fly fishing dept. I fill it with the oil of my choice. I'll keep looking and post back here if I find it lol.

I bought a few of the syringes from southern states. Great idea in theory but for me when trying to push the plunger very very slowly to get only 1 tiny drop of oil to come out. It proved to be harder then I though.
