OntarioFishingGuy Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Green for fishing in weeds, yellow for slow sinking baits, black for clear water. Quote

Pinoy_Basser Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Yellow Braid mainline (with FC leader) I watch the line more when detecting bites. Yellow is the most visible for me in the waters I fish. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted January 9, 2015 Super User Posted January 9, 2015 Yellow! Visibility. I always tie on a leader. Quote
Blues19 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Green. It was the only color available. And confidence because its the color of mono I originally started fishing with. Quote
Trace Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Fish green, it's all that I've had local. But i would also like to try yellow line. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted January 9, 2015 Super User Posted January 9, 2015 I'll have to look when I get home Roger 1 Quote

Arv Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Green I have some red too just cause it looks awesome on my aldebaran bfs Quote
Robert Riley Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I use yellow (FC leader) on my finesse spinning rod,and green on my frog rod. Never seen blue before, had red when I was younger cuz it was cool haha. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted January 9, 2015 Super User Posted January 9, 2015 I mostly use PP green. I do have yellow on 1 inshore set up, light green and orange on 2 freshwater reels, the color really doesn't matter to me anymore. Quote

Super User Sam Posted January 9, 2015 Super User Posted January 9, 2015 I keep it simple: Green Quote
Super User OkobojiEagle Posted January 9, 2015 Super User Posted January 9, 2015 Faded grey as long as I can see it... white when it becomes necessary. Using the thinnest diameter I can get away with is usually more important to me than color. oe Quote
ChrisWi Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Love red. Little less visible but I can see it above the water very wellL Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted January 9, 2015 Super User Posted January 9, 2015 I like the light green PP super slick and the moss green original PP... Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted January 9, 2015 Super User Posted January 9, 2015 Green will probably win this one. And the fact that it is the most common braid color will strongly influence that. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted January 9, 2015 Super User Posted January 9, 2015 Green for me, for no other reason than the first spool of braid I bought years ago was green, and I just never felt the need to change. Besides the wal-mart 5 mins from my house sells green power pro, so it's easy to get. Quote
Super User Team9nine Posted January 9, 2015 Super User Posted January 9, 2015 Yellow/chartreuse/lime fan here, but mostly because the majority of my braid fishing is with jigs and other similar baits. Like knowing exactly where that line is and what it is doing. Green for frogging though, and have use smoke and red for some other applications. -T9 Quote
