Gander Mountain is running a sale on the Pflueger Supreme, 79 dollars marked down from 99.  They also have another sale going on right now that is 10% off of everything, it includes sale items.   So for about 71 dollars and tax you can pick up a nice spinning reel that performs very well.

A good deal for a good reel...

The recent Pflueger killer deal that didn't draw much interest in this forum was before Christmas when Cabela's marked down the Supreme XT from $150 to.............................$75...........................AND free shipping!  I now have a NIB 9225 XT waiting to join the line-up... ;)

Someone started a thread on that Cabela's deal and it hardly got any attention.........................

I missed out on that deal, they also had the Supreme for 60 I believe.

I picked one up today at gander mountain. Can't wait to try it out. It looks like a solid light reel for the money. Thinking of pairing it with a Fenwick elite tech walley rod I saw there clearenced out for $99.

I got an MGX for $37 at dicks a few weeks ago and ordered the XT from cabelas for $89 two weeks ago. I wish I had seen the sale when they were $75, but I can't complain about getting that reel for $90.

Saw it, but number of my spinning rods and spinning reels matched so I ignored it.  Decided later that day to buy one for my grandson should he decide to get more into fishing at a later date.  Sale was over at that time.  :sad78:  Oh well, more money for me on more fishing gear for myself.  :teeth:

FFO always has killer deals on Pflueger reels too. New and reconditioned, but the reconditioned might as well be new.

You bet. FFO closed out some of the previous model Supreme spinning reels, brand new, for $38-$40 bucks (plus shipping) about 3 years ago. I bought four at that time - one 25, one 30, two 35s.  Couldn't beat that deal.  Still have a couple of those NIB waiting for older reels to wear out...

Reconditioned?  You bet - I bought a 1st gen Revo S from FFO for $51 shipped - looked and performed as new.

And for those that might wonder, FFO is Fisherman's Factory Outlet.
