LakeAnnaBasser Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 I mainly fish jigs on rocky banks and steep drop offs and brush. Which style jig mold would be best for each style??? Quote

Super User Jig Man Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 I have to agree with what has been stated. However, I was digging around in my molds a few weeks ago and found an old banana jig mold. I made a few and used them on a long stretch of dam rip rap. They were as snag free as the footballs if not a little better. I have since made up 4 dozen to have for further study. Quote
Super User Tin Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 I'm a die hard jig guy, but have never heard or seen of a banana style till this week? Is it another Southern thang or something? Any pics? Quote
bassnleo Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I too like football jigs for the situation you mentioned. I've been experimenting more with jigs tied on plain ball heads. They seem to work ok in shallow situations or current situations. Quote

LakeAnnaBasser Posted December 18, 2007 Author Posted December 18, 2007 Thanks for the advice everyone. Im getting the poisontail mold because it just looks really good. But my dad is getting the football and arky molds. So in the end it worked out perfectly. Quote
