Super User kickerfish1 Posted January 7, 2015 Super User Posted January 7, 2015 Good bait and a good company. Never had an issue with any of their prodcuts and the owner is heckuva nice guy to boot. As long as they are making baits I am buying. The lobster is great for getting bigger bites. Quote
Matthew2000 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 If your looking for the big bite go with the lobster. Fun fishing/trying to get 5 fish go with the craw. Also I exclusively rig the lobster the rage rig way. Caught a couple pigs doing that. Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted January 7, 2015 Super User Posted January 7, 2015 I have absolutely no clue how many fish I've caught with a Lobster behind a jig but it's a lot! 3 Quote

Matthew2000 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 If you fish the lobster around docks I would fish it rage way because it slows the fall of the bait so much. Quote
Super User tomustang Posted January 7, 2015 Super User Posted January 7, 2015 Once you go lobster, it's hard going back to the regular craw 1 Quote
Blues19 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 I was night fishing with my uncle and cousin. They were catching a bunch of fish (all dinks) on a brush hog and paca craw. I was throwing something else. Put on a June Bug Lobster, first time trying a lobster. Caught a 5 fish limit in about an hour. They couldnt catch anything. That thing just straight up worked. Quote
dday07 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 If not topwatering I'm throwing a black and blue Lobster at nite Quote
Super User Catt Posted January 7, 2015 Super User Posted January 7, 2015 Never understood why some people prefer to catch "dinks" when fun fishing! Lobster: Rage Rig Jig Trailer Texas Rig Top Water Quote
Super User ChrisD46 Posted January 7, 2015 Super User Posted January 7, 2015 What specifically is the : "Rage Rig" ?? Quote
Matthew2000 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Belly weighted hook with a rage craw or lobster on it. It tends to fall with the bait horizontal with the legs flaring up. Quote
Super User Master Bait'r Posted January 7, 2015 Super User Posted January 7, 2015 My secret santa got me a pack of these and I've never tried them but this thread has got me excited. Does anybody punch with these things? I feel like they'd be awesome to hammer through pads with one of Francho's EWG rigs when there's depth below. Quote

Super User Raul Posted January 7, 2015 Super User Posted January 7, 2015 Don´t buy them ! they don´t work at all .... Quote
ColdSVT Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Three packs arrived at my house the other day...gonna trig and a swim jig em My tourny partner pagreg did well with them last year Quote
Super User scaleface Posted January 7, 2015 Super User Posted January 7, 2015 Question for you guys using the Rage rig. Do you feel you are getting more bites with the horizontal fall vs. a nose down fall ? Quote
Matthew2000 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Scale it depends on the situation in dense weeds no. But when I'm fishing anything else yes, also I think the big ones bite it more they are used to a Texas rig type fall. Quote
Super User aavery2 Posted January 8, 2015 Super User Posted January 8, 2015 Great bait, I always thought that they should have had a color named B52. Quote
tnbassfisher Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Question for you guys using the Rage rig. Do you feel you are getting more bites with the horizontal fall vs. a nose down fall ?I don't have any real "data" to back this up, but I think so. I like the Rage Rig on all of the Rage Tail products, have even carried this technique over to other plastics.Edit: Whenthe time is right for the rig. Other times I still like a Texas rig. Quote
Vrybusy Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Very versatile bait! As with many Rage products. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted January 8, 2015 Super User Posted January 8, 2015 Im liking this thing...even better than the Rage Craw. This will be my regular. Thats really all I have to say about that. What's a Rage Craw? Roger Quote
